The UNECE Data Portal provides free, comparable, and readily available data for the UNECE region, encompassing Europe, North America, and parts of Asia. It focuses on key socioeconomic indicators across various sectors, including economics, gender, transport, and forestry. Multi-dimensional tables present data by country, by various socio-economic classifications related to the context, and by time period.
The database is designed for easy retrieval and comparison of data, with a strong emphasis on international comparability. Users may be particularly interested in the statistics on countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and countries of Central and Eastern Europe, which can be difficult to find elsewhere in a single integrated database.
