SciFinder-n gives online access to the comprehensive chemical and related scientific information provided by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS). This includes journal articles, patent information, substance data, chemical reaction, regulatory data, chemical suppliers and biomedical literature.

To create an individual SciFinder-n account, please follow the 'registration information' link located at the bottom of the screen. It is important to register using your NTU email address in order to complete the registration process and access the service. Starting in May 2025, registered users may receive an on-screen prompt to verify their email address when they log in. Users will then receive a verification code via email from userprofile@cas.org to enter in the prompt. If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
